Welcome to Lynton Childcare. The day nursery where the safety and welfare your children is our primary consideration.
Founded in July 2000, Lynton has expanded over the past few years and is now registered to accept 18 children from the age of 3 months to 11 years and is open - mornings, afternoons, or all day care sessions to suit your circumstances. Monday to Friday: 7.45am to 5.45pm.
Facilities
Lynton
has a wide range of play activities designed to stimulate interest and
education. Children can enjoy activities such as Sand and Water play,
playdough, painting and cooking, along with role-play, dressing up, house
play, shops, musical activity, songs and rhymes.
Outside, we have trikes, scooters, pushalongs, trampoline, climbing frame, slide, playhouse and sand and water in a safe, large and secluded garden.
Staff
Good
staff training is fundamental to our approach at Lynton. All our staff
are either already qualified in Early Years Care and Education or undergoing
training for NVQ Level 2 or Level 3.
At present we have 7 staff.

Funding - Nursery Education Grant:
The government contributes an amount of money towards the pre-school education of eligible 3 and 4 year olds.
Funding for 2007 - 2008 is spit over 3 terms as follows

will be paid on a sessional basis i.e. £8.50 per session. a child
attending 5 sessions per week for each term will receive the amounts below.

REQUIREMENT OF THE FUNDING: Parents Statement of Undertaking which is updated each term and a copy of the child's Birth Certificate. (Or equivalent).
Collection of Children:
No one of other than the authorised parent/carer will be allowed to collect children. Please collect children on time.
