Our Early Years Funding Offer

Lynton Childcare is registered to provide the Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) for eligible children aged 9 months to 4 years, offering 15–30 funded hours per week, depending on eligibility.

Families can choose from two funding models:

1. Stretched Offer – 48 Weeks Per Year

Your funded hours are spread across 48 weeks to reduce the weekly amount deducted.

2. Term Time Only Offer – 38 Weeks Per Year

Your funded hours are used during standard term-time weeks only.

Government funding helps cover the cost of childcare hours, however it does not include meals, snacks, consumables, enhanced activities or additional services. At Lynton Childcare, these are known as Additional Extras.

Additional Extras

Our Additional Extras are designed to enrich each child’s nursery experience and to support wellbeing, development and enjoyment.

These include:

Nutritious meals and snacks – Breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, a two-course home-cooked lunch and afternoon tea.

Unlimited essentials – Suncream, wipes and PPE.

Full access to Tapestry – Our family communication platform, offering activity updates, learning insights and personal care diaries.

Outdoor puddle suits – For all-weather exploration.

Oral Health Programme – Delivered by trained staff, including props, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Rhythms of Our Year celebrations – Themed days, cultural events and special nursery occasions.

Parent coffee mornings and afternoons – To connect with our team and other families.

Adventure Play Park – Access to our gated outdoor adventure area.

Lynton Pets Family – Supervised visits to our rabbit enclosure and opportunities to help care for our nursery pets.

And much more – All designed to support enriched learning, wellbeing and fun.

Please note: Additional Extras provide the full nursery experience. If families choose to opt out, certain services and enhancements will not be available.

Fees & Charges (From April 2025)

Funding Templates & Invoicing

To ensure transparency and clarity:

A funding template is created for every child.

This template shows how the funding is applied weekly and annually, including any Additional Extras and remaining charges where applicable.

Families receive a monthly invoice by email, making it easy to track payments and understand how funding is being used.
